Product Overview

Dave's Deals are items that have arrived from the factory that are fully functional, but with cosmetics defects. Some people call them factory seconds. They are still good items that come with our warranty, we're just knocking down the price because they don't pass Dave's inspection standards. Some Dave's Deals may be stamped with the letter S.

    Perfect Wheelchair bag!

We were in search of a quality wheelchair bag and over the past year have been considering different types of totes, backpacks or cross-carries to “rig” on the back. But none of them seem to be the quality or style we wanted. When the BMBP came out with its wide, busty frame and an opening that will stay open without assistance, I knew we found what we needed. We also purchased Love 41 leather pouches to help organize her smaller belongings.

My wife needs full assistance and that requires a number of items to pack when we go out. This bag is big enough to fit everything and then some. At family events we leave the front Gladstone pocket open with the straps buckled on the last hole for other family members to have easy access and help with chapstick, napkins, brushes, hair-ties, etc... The side pockets are perfect for myself or our nurses to slide a water bottle or tumbler in with ease.

The wide frame holds great aesthetics and sits nicely on the back of her chair. We removed the tube pads and crossed the straps around the wheelchair handle, then back through it's own D-ring and crossed to the other side's buckle. It's almost like it was built to be on the back of a chair. I thought Saddleback might never make a wheelchair bag... it appears they did. The question is was it intentional or inadvertent? Either way, we are very pleased and are sure this bag will outlast her wheelchair.

The only issue I see so far, is there are no D-rings at the top. There are, however, four on the bottom that could be used to attached the bag underneath the chair, but we don't need them.

On a side note, we bought Chestnut to match her Water bag and it looks great against her black and purple wheelchair. I'm a Tobacco guy, but man, Chestnut is a beautiful, classy color of leather.
