Cash & Receipt Bag

This small bag has consistently been with me for years. The design in simple, one piece of leather with two stitch lines, which makes it durable and versatile for all kinds of uses. I've used it to carry cash and to hold a checkbook and pen. It spent a couple of years in my daily carry, holding a slim power bank and cable to charge my phone. Now it carries my glasses in bag or in my car. This bag carries and protects the little things I rely on every day.

I was a bit skeptical of the string wrap-around as a good closure option, but I've been really pleased with how well it works once I figured it out. You just wrap it around about 3/4 of the string's length with the coils spaced out a bit across the width, then pass the loose end back under them. Super quick and perfect for keeping cash or pens, I'll be buying a few more. I would like to see a friction fit belt and slot option similar to your document holder, but this is economical and simple while having a smell, feel, and patina no synthetic pouch could ever touch. Buy one more than you think you need.

I’ve carried mine for 10 years. Perfectly holds test strips, lancing device, insulin pen, test meter, couple needles and lancing needles.

This is a really neat bag. I carry cash, my Proverbs new testament and gift cards. I love the design and the way it opens.

Bag has a lot of small uses, from receipts to glasses. Helps keep things organized. Plus has the stunning SBL style.

I’ve had 83 bills in it and room for more. I did remove the leather wrap from it and add snaps to it. I like the snaps because I feel it’s more secure. I would submit a picture but it doesn’t give me the option to.

Let's face it. Like tattoos Saddleback leather products are addictive. I personally am not a tattoo addict but I love, love, love Saddleback Leather products. I don't have the luxury of picking and choosing every item that's offered on the website because I am not blessed with unlimited financial freedom. I pick and choose carefully and DO NOT resell on ebay. I keep my things and enjoy them.

This soft little case arrived two days ago and I'm struggling to choose which function I'm going to use it for because there are so many options!

Great size and fun to secure with the leather string. It’s big enough for 2 checkbooks, gift cards and bed bath & beyond coupons. (which never expire and you can use as many as you want during one visit, btw) It’s a great lil addition for my EDC bag and of course, the quality is excellent!

This is the 6th item I've purchased from Saddleback Leather. I can't stress enough that if you're just not sure because the price seems just too high. Save your money, and buy the Saddleback product. I use this back for my tabacco pipe and tabacco. It works great. The product is solid construction, incredible quality, and wonderfully simple. Seriously, the best leather goods I've found. I bought this case to go along with my new laptop bag. The bag doesn't have any pockets for pens, etc., so this case complements it perfectly by holding all of those small miscellaneous items.

I’ve had my Cash & Receipt Bag for about a month now, and I can’t say enough about it. I never liked checkbook covers before getting this thing. I don't use the tie on mine. It also fits my Motorola Moto G 2 in its case (about 5.75" x 3.0") quite well. There are probably a lot of things this would work well for. I got three for that reason. The price is right, and of course the unlined leather is thick and beautiful.

My first saddleback purchase and I still use it for my aviators fits tight and snug, it definatly protects my glasses and looks good doing it.

I bought this case in tobacco along with a canvas bag with a 'Dave's Deal' 25% off. Both well worth it because there was nearly nothing wrong with them. I was fully expecting scratches, or weird stitching, so I'm not really clear where the cosmetic issues are, and I'm pretty happy with the deal. My case arrived in regular condition. Couple things- this case may be one of those items that just photographs poorly. My first impression was that it had slightly thicker leather than the photos suggested, and also I felt the color was a bit richer in person. Someone posted a photo of their case along with their review and it looked very thin to me. Maybe Dave is using different kind of leather since that post because mine arrived much nicer than I anticipated. I'm using this to store pens, sharpies, and a pair of scissors. 5/5 stars because it was slightly better quality than I expected and also the color was much richer in person.

We have several of these. I use mine for USB drives. Another for shopping receipts and coupons. Another for misc receipts. Very versatile.

Great little pouch for keeping receipts or cash in. I use on for receipts and another to keep cash in.

Upgrade for my financial piece university envelope . Had to go into a little debt buying it so I can keep working to get out of debt. Paid with debt card though. Have a lot of Saddleback leather which caused some of my debt. Dave stuff is nice, addictive, expensive. Later Dave.

Wow! Love the new black - so rich and expensive looking. Most of my SB purchases have been in the chocolate brown color, but this black is gorgeous. I am actually using this as a quick run to the store wallet. It holds my phone, cash, ATM card/drivers license and coupons. (Dave, stick a strong magnetic closure on this for a great woman's clutch wallet.) Would like to see the Crossbody Koroha bag from love41 in this black.

I didn't get this to hold glasses or pens, but for my diabetic supplies and meds. This holds my diabetes meter, finger stick pen, bottle of tabs for meter, insulin pen, needle and a pill bottle for my meds. Having the string gives it the flexibility to stuff more in it if I need to. It's very soft. I didn't think I would like the string closure but actually it works well. After I put everything in it its not even bulky. This is the perfect leather solution for my medical stuff. I love it.
