C. S. Lewis (1898–1963) A former diehard atheist and professor at both Oxford and Cambridge, he became one of the most influential Christian philosophers, storytellers and apologists (explaining and defending the faith) in all of history and called himself “the most dejected and reluctant convert in all England.” He had a knack for using logic and story to explain that Christianity is not only logically true, but joyfully satisfying to the human heart. The Chronicles of Narnia series for kids and adults, Mere Christianity (logic of Christian belief), The Problem of Pain (why suffering exists) and The Screwtape Letters (how Satan works) have helped millions of people to come to know God more deeply.

This is the one, you found it, stop looking

I have had the other version of this for many years - the one the has the rivets that are typically used on jeans and has leather that is a bit more rough feeling. I am SO GLAD they came out with this version which I just happened to stumble on during their moving sale. This version has butter-smooth leather that has an awesome sheen out of the box. It looks more sophisticated than the other version. The old version with rivets always seemed a little too casual for meetings. It's a little too thick and bulky and even though I got the black version, it was really a chocolate brown. THIS one is true black, so smooth, thinner and less bulky (it has one less divider on the left inner side than the OG model). I know Dave shudders at the thought of leather that is sanded this smooth, but it's so nice for people who love super smooth leather. And the aroma says it all! Incredible find if you can get it on sale. And even if it's not on sale, this is the one you want. I might buy a second one.
