Works great for dry leather!

I purchased a used 5-6 year-old large coffee-brown classic briefcase. I doubt that it had ever been conditioned. Even though I conditioned it twice with Chamberlain's #1, the leather still felt dry. I spoke to Chamberlain's and they suggested using the Balm for the entire bag. What a difference! The bag turned a shade darker and became much more supple.

Works Great to Even-Out Colour!

After my first review of this product (just below), I purchased a used "2-rivet" Classic Briefcase in Tobacco (that was used extensively and probably never conditioned). Being an older version of this bag (I'm guessing 7-10 years old), it showed significant colour variation: while most of the bag was light yellowish brown, the handle and back of the bag had acquired a dark patina and the side straps showed a bit of darkening due (presumably) to UV exposure. After using the Healing Balm, the colour evened out considerably. It's so soft I feel like I'm carrying around an old catcher's mitt! Big fan of this product!

This product smells good enough to eat just like all saddlebacks stuff.

Does the Job!

I have used this healing balm on all my leather products I own. It works very well in smoothing out scratches and adding moisture to the leather that may be getting dry. This is a must have staple if you own any leather items!

Great product for scratches

Great for scratches and heavily worn leather. Used on our leather ottoman and on my Squared Leather Backpack (dark coffee brown) which still looks great after many miles of travel over 6 years.

Great for Restoring Colour

My second review. I bought a 10 year old 2 rivet classic briefcase in tobacco that probably was never conditioned. This leather was still soft, but two-toned: compared to the brownish patina that developed on the handle and magazine pouch in the back, the bag was almost a yellow colour. After cleaning the bag with Chamberlain's #2, I put the balm on and the two colours blended uniformly into a nice orange-brown. Love this product!!

One thing to note: you need to let the bag sit for about a week in order for it to fully absorb into the leather (the bag may feel a bit tacky before then).

6 Years of Road Warrior Airport Travel Removed

I've had my slim briefcase for 6 years, and it's been my daily companion. I am in and out of the Atlanta airport 3 weeks out of the month. The poor bag has been thrown in the back of rental cars countless times. Coming up on my 6 years it was time to show some love back to the bag. I purchased the healing balm and couldn't be happier. The bag looks practically new again. I used Number2 to get a good clean out of the leather. I wish I could post pictures of the before and after. Fantastic results. Thanks Saddleback Team!

This stuff is awesome

My cats decided to use my new Saddleback Leather sleeve as a scratch pad. Despite the deep scratches, Chamberlain's Healing Balm made them disappear. Bravo!

Great product

My leather bag was dry and scratched up. I worked the healing balm in and voila! The bag was like new again!! I’ve included a before and after image since a photo speaks 1000 words.

Believe the Hype!

I had a tin of this sitting around for a year or so but used for the first time this weekend. Launched in on one bag and quickly obsessed and did the rest of my Saddleback products. Fantastic results. Will be pressed into service with Spring car detailing. 6 of 5 stars
