Design
The Grandfather Pilot’s Case is the ninth addition to the Grandfather Collection and one of my favorites. The leather case is kept securely closed using 3 buckled straps. The over-engineered hinge is made from reinforced leather so it will never rust or break.
The inside of the lid presents two pockets using a leather toggle and loop closure. These are great for keeping smaller items tucked away and organized away from the main compartment contents. The entire interior is lined with super durable, but soft pigskin. There's also a laptop pocket sewn on the inside.
Functionality
The Grandfather Pilot’s Case is truly a multi-functional design. It can be used as a professional’s briefcase, an overnight travel case (carry-on approved), or even as the coolest saddlebags on a vintage Indian motorcycle.
