Design
With so many options of day planners available to us today it can be a bit overwhelming. Leuchtturm1917, Rhodia, JSTORY, TRAVELER’s, Fabriano, Moleskine, etc. etc. The list goes on and on. So, with that in mind I decided to make different size leather covers. That way if you favor one planner, notebook, or journal over others, we have options for you. The Soft Leather Planner Journal Cover will hold up to an 8.5” wide 11.5” tall A4 planner journal moleskine.
On the left side, you have the ability to hold a standard size notepad (8.5” x 11”), as well as other extra documents you may need throughout the day. And then there are two small pockets for business cards, small notepad, hold your credit cards, or where your significant other can hide sweet love notes for you to find in the middle of your busy day. The leather pocket on the right side (6.75” x 6.75”) is sure to hold your planner securely.
And with convenience in mind, I didn’t let myself forget to put a leather pen sleeve, which is attached to the inside left pocket.
Materials
Leather - Like all of our leather pieces, we only use the highest quality materials you can find. Full-grain leather, which means it is the toughest and most durable leather. We don’t shave any of the layers off which reduces it’s integrity and erases all the beautiful markings (scars, brands, etc.). This planner cover is sure to live a lifetime of planning; and when you die your family will be fighting over it.
Lining - The inside of the cover is lined with pig skin, which is even stronger than cow skin. I’m confident this will be the longest lasting planner cover in the world. Why else would we offer a 100 Year Warranty?
Thread - We sew everything together using extremely strong marine-grade polyester that is UV resistant. The leather planner cover is sewn at only 5 stitches per inch. We do this because the more holes there are it creates a weakness, so by having more leather in between each hole it reduces any risk of rips and tears.
