Hi, this is Cross Munson, Dad's son. I always wanted a lightweight leather backpack because Dad's backpacks were too heavy. So, I asked my Dad if I could design a leather backpack that was lighter than his and he said yes. After a long time and a lot of trying, I got my favorite backpack for me without anybody helping me except my dad a little. And now my mom and sister use my leather backpacks for themselves. Because it's made of pigskin, it's really tough and really light and I love my own. I named the two colors of this leather backpack Bacon and Burnt Sausage. Dad said I couldn't use elastic or velcro like my favorite canvas backpack had on it, so we figured out a good way to close it that didn't have any cheap stuff. I think you should get one.

    Small Leather Backpack

    I love this backpack. It looks and smells wonderful. I wasn't sure if it would be too small as I am using is it as my everyday bag, it is a perfect size for this . It is very well made and well worth the price.

    Perfect EDC for ladies and kids

    I currently own the Saddleback Drawstring Backpack, the Indiana leather Satchel, and the Love41 Mini Backpack, but I needed something in between them all... This bag is it. The size and organization are perfect. Considering the low price point, I was shocked at how much I enjoy this bag. I am a petite 5'1" and this bag fits like it was made for me; the strap length is definitely best for a smaller frame. The pigskin is immediately soft and flexible and SO lightweight. The side pockets are large enough for real car keys or a minimal wallet, and the slip pockets fit my iPhone XR. And if the toggles are unclasped, I can reach backward and grab from the pockets without removing the bag! I went back and forth between this bag and the Love41 City Backpack, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. This bag has flexible space thanks to the floppy pigskin and drawstring closure, and ideal pocket size and placement. The wide straps are the most comfortable of all my Saddleback family of bags, and (for me) the toggles are faster to open than any buckle. I got the burnt sausage color because I didn't think any other light brown could compete with my beloved Tobacco. The burnt sausage is a deep, earthy, off-black color with warm brown stitching and a tobacco label. I seriously love this bag. Way to go Cross--your design just took top spot in my Saddleback lineup.
