Sleeve is not sized for the new thinner MacBook Pro
Love saddleback products!!! But this was a real disappointment! If you have the new thinner MacBook pro this sleeve will be too large for your laptop! I have the original MacBook pro retina as well... fits it like a glove... This should make this clear! Or better yet, since apple has moved to the new thinner model --- redesign this sleeve!

Very snug at first
I ordered this sleeve for a MBP 15 and it was quite snug at first. Initially I had to grab the sleeve on the bottom seam and gently shake my laptop out. Six months later the sleeve has loosened up to the point that I can pull out the laptop from out of the sleeve. It protects very well and far better than other sleeves I had used before. I would recommend this product without reservation!

Believe in the sleeve
I have a 13 inch Mac Book Pro w/Retina display. I purchased this cover/sleeve in tobacco and it looks and feels great. The design is simple but effective. The stitching at the bottom serves as bumper that will absorb most drops, bumps and typical everyday abuse that we unknowingly submit our electronics to. The price of the sleeve is very reasonable and considering the cost of my laptop, it seems almost stupid not to protect my investment with a quality product and this sleeve is among the best I've seen. Now I feel I should address the fitment issues other people seem to have. After reading many reviews on how people had a hard time getting their computer in and out of the sleeve makes me think maybe they ordered the wrong size or didn't matchup the right laptop brand with the right sleeve. Yes we all know leather will stretch, warm weather makes the leather more pliable as cold weather keeps the leather stiff and resistant to stretching. Right out of the box, my Mac Book Pro slipped in PERFECTLY. It slid down the first 90% with ease and the last 10% I had to give it a little push, which provides a snug hold. When I removed my laptop, I held the sleeve by the stitching with my left hand and with my right hand I used my thumb and two fingers, grabbed the laptop from the center and pulled it out. It took 4 seconds. Then I like to use the sleeve as a pad to rest my computer on. Normally I would not have gone into such great detail on inserting and removing the computer from the sleeve but so many people had a problem with it I thought I should share my experience on how easy it was for me.
