It's thick and does not have any of the grain shaved off, which is what makes it the strongest and most robust leather. The inside of the leather carry on luggage is lined with soft pigskin, which is even tougher than cow leather. The thread we use to sew it all together is a thick, UV-resistent polyester thread so it won't deteroirate and tear. Our hardware is a marine-grade custom stainless steel that's complete overkill, but we refuse to let our hardware break on you. The corners of the carry on and suitcases are reinforced. When you put this carry-on on your shoulder, you will notice the quality of the nice thick shoulder strap. With an adjustable pad that adds that extra layer of soft comfort, these are just a few more features that we put into this luggage.
