This is probably the toughest leather mouse pad you'll be able to find. Built to withstand a lifetime of the most ferocious web surfing, this veg tanned leather is thick with nicely shaped edges. Did I mention it's thick? This Mouse Pad is great on its own and even better as part of our Desk Pad Set.

    Chestnut color is "off"

    As with all Saddleback products, the design, build, and feel are top notch. I have several of Saddleback products in chestnut and they are all the same shade. This particular batch was definitely not close. I did email Saddleback pictures of the pad, and other chestnut products as a comparison. Customer service was great, and they offered for me to return. I would have, but as Ms. Grace had stated, "Our Customer Service manager was kind enough to go out into the warehouse and double check all of our Chestnut stock. They're all very red like the one you received. Our Chestnut and Tobacco colors can really vary from batch to batch, and we just can't guarantee what they will look like at any given time." At the end of the day I kept the pad, as it may take a while for the next batch to come in. 5 star product -1 for quality control w/ the color.
