This leather napkin holder was inspired by the leather napkin holder I experienced at the Talisman Restaurant in Nairobi back in 2014. We were on a short little trip to Kenya to interview the greatest tent maker in the world and we were just there for 22 hours. We were super tired and had to borrow money from a local missionary because my credit and debit cards were frozen. It was a rough day, but this leather napkin holder concept made it all worth it.
When we first sat down to eat, I could barely believe my eyes. It was such a beautiful sight. I was so enchanted by the simple and unique napkin holder sitting next to my plate that I could hardly stand it. I took the concept, changed the design and made this for you to enjoy.
This leather napkin holder is one of those little details that a host or hostess can place in front of their guests to make them smile. It’s one of those 3% differences that they’ll never forget. Little bits of joy here and there is the key. They’ll remember your time together not because of the food, but because of this little detail.
And I look forward to seeing the many other uses for this other than as a napkin holder. Surely someone is going to tell us that it’s the most amazing tool holder, paint brush stand or something else that we never imagined. Be sure to send us your use. But for now, it’s a cool leather napkin holder to set off the table when you’re hosting.
