Read MoreA leather passport holder, such as our Slim Passport Wallet, is a great way to keep all of your important documents organized and together while you travel. If you have your regular wallet, plus a boarding pass, plus a vaccination card that may or may not fit in your regular leather wallet, you have a lot to remember. With a passport holder, you can organize everything in one place.&&Plus, it just looks nicer. Many people think a passport holder is only for people who travel a lot, but that's not true. If you are carrying your passport with you, why not do it in class? Plus, when you pull your boarding pass out of this, you will surely get bumped up to first class.
---When you trust something as important as a passport holder, you do not want the maker to go cheap. You can go to the mall all day and get a cheap personalized passport cover, but it is just that, cheap passport covers. We design this to keep your belongings safe in other countries. With a passport pocket, internal card slots, and RFID blocking technology, you can get to your hotel safe and sound with your travel documents and cash. We do this with everything we make, so it makes sense that we would make something so important.&&
---This leather passport wallet was constructed with full-grain leather. All leather has grain, tough fibers, and pores in the top part of the hide. Most companies pay less for the leather that has had a lot of the grain shaved off to get rid of scars and blemishes of the leather, but in doing so, they shave off the grain, which is the toughest part of the hide and what makes a leather passport wallet so durable, get a nice patina and be super water-resistant. It's like the shaved off the shingles from your roof. When they remove some of the grain, it's called top grain leather. When they remove ALL of the grain, it's called genuine leather. And they do it to save leather while taking away the strength of the wallet and durability of the leather. Leather is expensive, and they don't want to waste any of it because of a scar or bug bite. It's why this full grain leather passport wallet is more expensive than some cheap passport case.
---We line this leather passport wallet with pigskin, which is tougher than the cow leather. It's why we feel comfortable offering a 100-year Warranty.
---We sewed it with our really strong German marine-grade polyester thread. It's the only thread they sew parachutes and ship sails with. So if your life depends on it, use Polyester thread.
---And for extra security, we put a thin layer of RFID (Radio Frequency ID) blocking material between the pigs and the cow. This is to stop low life scumbag thieves from scanning your leather passport wallet in a crowd and stealing your identification from the cards in your passport wallet. The RFID chip on the front of the passport itself is harder to scan because it's a different frequency. So keep your data safe with this RFID blocking technology; these are travel essentials.
---The reason customs agents and cashiers will compliment you on your leather passport wallet is that the full-grain leather ages so nicely. I designed it to stay slim and flat when it's stuffed full by putting only two even credit card pockets to stack your cards, business cards on one side and personal cards on the other. Because you stack them, there aren't layers of leather adding thickness between each card. And it stays flat in the two interior pockets. The size is wide enough to fit a couple of passports comfortably, and yellow cards or uncomfortably fit four passports, but only two securely. It seems simple, but it is a very well thought out leather passport wallet.
---You are taking a trip out of the country, you might even do this all the time, but most people don't. Either way, you have the best travel gear, luggage, bag, money, passports, boarding pass, and other important documents. You review your flight, hotel, and everything you can to make your next trip the best it can be. You do not want to trust that the trip will not get ruined by a low-quality passport case with a snap closure that just broke and dumped your documents. It will not happen at a convenient place, and you show up at your hotel with nothing. Our passport wallet is exactly what you need for quality and extra security. Oh, and it smells great and will always work correctly, for at least 100 years anyway.
Mine is in chestnut and I have had it for a little over a year and it is a very good wallet. It is not heavy and empty it weights 4oz and with my passport and cards it is only 7.8oz. You can put 5~7 cards in each of the card pockets however mine do not have raised numbers so that can go down if you have many cards with raised numbers and alternating them so the numbers are not all on the same side can minimize the lost of capacity. With the card pockets you can't carry dozens of cards and forces the clutter down as 10~14ish is about the most I find that I need to carry. Anything further such as rewards cards you can put your phone number in at the store or add it a digital wallet which is what I have done.. The longer pocket behind the card pockets is also handy to put a few extra cards or other important small documents that you will not be pulling out frequently. The video on the product page shows you can put a passport there however when I put it there it was a bit tight so I would stick to one passport and just trust others to hold onto their own and maybe send them to the link to this wallet to get before the trip. The outside ticket pocket? is handy to keep receipts stored until I get home and traveling you can fold your tickets and put them there so they are accessible but not floating around in your pocket. The video on the product page also notes about putting a passport there and it fits comfortably however I would recommended to just use it for receipts and ticket to not advertise where you put your passport if someone just sees the outside of it. It does have some wear from the passport pocket flap on the opposing side with he cards but nothing unexpected. The cash pocket is pretty deep and due to having to be a little more than the height of the passport it should be able to take a variety of different currencies but I have not traveled where I have to test that. You do have to travel light on bills in it as I put a small stack of US bills in and it did make it harder to close so if you have to have to travel with a lot of money larger denominations or having most of it in another locations/stashed and just having a little walking around money in the wallet is recommended. 99% of all of my transactions are digital so it is not a factor for me. I have a Saddleback valet tray and it fits in it well with a little space above the wallet in the tray for a pen and some space on the side to fit other things like ear buds, a small set of keys, glasses, ect. I keep mine in my shirt pocket mostly but fits well in my front pants pocket as long as the pockets are deep enough. It does fit in my rear pants pocket so it should be fine there as it has to stay flat however I don't use that pocket so I do not have any feedback for it there. I did catch the ticket pocket flap once in a pocket and folded it back so it did get a little wrinkling on the surface at the angle where it folded however with handling over time you can't really notice unless you know what to look for. The leather behind the ticket pocket has the impression of the edge stitching of the flap which is expected however the leather protected behind it looks just as good as the rest of the wallet with a year plus of use. I have nicked and scrapped it a little bit over the last year however most of it you can't see over time with some handling without looking closely and nothing stands out as a something unpleasant to the eye. I tried the RFID once to scan a credit card and it did not pick it up so it seems to be working however I have not tested it repeatedly or frequently.

This is a well-made passport holder. My only complaint is that on the inside flap there is some show-through of the origin stamp. Either the leather needs to be thicker there or the person stamping didn't need to go so hard. It doesn't affect function so it doesn't bother me but it is worth noting. I purchased the chestnut version of this product.

A beautiful way to store and keep your passport along with the ability to keep a credit card or two along with cash.

This passport wallet is exactly what I have been looking for to keep items like my passport of course, but also international drivers permit, immunizations card and also my passport card. I can’t wait to see how the patina develops as it develops its character from use. The leather is free from any blemishes, the stitching is tight and even, and it just feels like quality. It will be a perfect companion for when I purchase the Flight Bag Leather Briefcase. I highly recommend this passport wallet.
