Suzette’s Steals are items that have arrived from the factory that are fully functional but with cosmetic defects. Some people call them factory seconds. They are still good items that come with our warranty, and we're just knocking down the price because they don't pass Suzette’s quality and inspection standards. Some Suzette’s Steals may be stamped with the letter S.

High-Quality
The Love 41 Universal Leather Backpack is made from full-grain (i.e. super tough!) leather. This bag is both beautiful and durable because it has been crafted to the highest quality standards in Old Mexico.

Materials
Unlike our hair, cows are waterproof, right? That's because the top part of their hide has tightly woven fibers. Our leather is produced keeping all of the natural grain intact (the reason it is called full-grain leather). No scars are shaven or sanded off because that process leaves only a small portion of the grain intact (which is known as top-grain leather). Because full-grain leather is the strongest cow leather on the planet (and the most beautiful in our opinion) that is why we choose to use it. The backpack is stitched together with the strongest thread on the planet, German polyester thread, and finished off with antique brass hardware.

Functionality
This backpack is designed with timeless beauty and will last for ages. It is different from our other backpacks in that it can be carried as either a backpack or a bag (backpack straps are detachable and adjustable). It has one interior zippered pocket, an exterior front zippered pocket, and a small exterior pocket on each side to fit your cell phone or other device. It is large enough to carry all 13" laptops.

The story behind this leather bag
This Universal Leather Backpack was not designed based on what is trending right now in the fashion world in the Spring or Fall of this particular year. It is designed with timeless universal thinking and built to be passed down at least two generations. You may not even have a daughter right now, but your granddaughter will be wearing it one day. The quality lies in the full grain leather and the thread because those two things are what determine the longevity and quality of a leather backpack. It is the highest grade leather there is. And therefore the toughest and most water resistant. The thread is the highest grade German thread we could find. This may not mean much to most people, but it does to us. The Polyester thread is more expensive but does not fall apart with exposure to the sun, like Nylon does. This leather backpack is a keeper.
