Over-Engineering
High-grade canvas finishing wax imported from Halley Stevensons in Dundee, Scotland (the maker of our Mountainback waxed canvas fabric). This is the only canvas fabric wax we recommend to condition your Mountainback designs. This is the same wax used by the fabric maker Halley Stevensons to finish the canvas. Finishing wax should be reapplied to Mountainback designs about once a year, depending on how hard you use it.

    Immediate Results

    Used to re-wax a waxed canvas hat of my husband’s. Rendered the fabric more pliable, waterproof, and renewed its appearance. As a bonus, it smelled great!

    Quality wax for reproofing canvas

    Smooth, fine quality. Goes on easily and melts quickly. Great smelling way to reproof waxed canvas bags, jackets etc. Recommended

    Took more than expected but worth it!

    Bought some to wax an unwaxed saddleback canvas medium duffle. Ended up using needing 2.5 - 3 bars in total. This bag would not have needed 3 bars if it was previously waxed but if you are dealing with a completely dry unwaxed canvas be prepared to spend the $30! Price seems high but I checked all over and $10/bar is standard price. Id rather buy from SDB where I know the quality is too shelf.
