After purchasing two smaller Saddleback items, I decided to plunge in to something a little more substantial. The 15” Saddleback briefcase definitely met all of my hopes and expectations. Every surface is smooth and the finishing is superb throughout. I feel like I got my moneys worth. Even though it’s a briefcase, I plan to use this as a small suitcase. My wife and I love to take impulsive trips and we travel lightly. This case will be perfect for spur of the moment weekend getaways.
I’d always wanted a hard-sided briefcase, and this has been a perfect fit! I use the Barrister’s Briefcase when I need to lug more around during the day, but the 15” is my go to and has held up well in the first few weeks I’ve had it.

Got the Black 15" grandfather. The fit and finish of this case is unparalleled. The leather is thick and smooth. The black finish is extremely classly. Large enough to hold my ipad, documents, binders and folders. Can fit under the seat on an airplane. My only wish is that it had a more easier and quicker opening lock. Like maybe a push button opening lock rather than the buckle which takes a little strength and time to unbuckle and buckle during opening and closing. Still its very nice.
This case represents absolute class and old world master craftsmanship. When I opened the box, I was in awe of the quality. Every stitch is perfect and every contact between the lid and case is tight and exact. This case will definitely stand the test of time and one day they’ll say, “they don’t make them like this anymore.”
