Beautiful bag, good for a weekend trip when the sidepocket or waterbag is just too big. Cons Not wide enough to sit clothes down without special folding (2xl) I’ve notice on some of them that the top falls down on one side of both, not sure if that is designed that way or flaw? With all Gladstone’s, I’m just not a fan of 3 straps, the Gladstone it’s self keeps it close and one strap keeps it secured imo, I do like the aesthetic of the 3 straps but If you fold them back , it’s too long so the fold is to and visable. I’m sure when the big mouth duffle comes out, that will be more my speed. Side note, this is just a little to wide to be an XL flight bag.
Sometimes it's difficult to fully grasp the size of a bag viewing it online, or visualizing the measurements, or even watching it being stuffed with things in a video. That was definitely the case for me with this bag—I knew it looked awesome, and the Gladstone opening that keeps it open while packing is what I wanted…but would it be the right size? Yes. Well, not actually just “Yes”…more like “Absolutely.” It’s perfect for anything from an overnight bag to something I can pack for about a week of traveling. I use it as a solo bag for short business trips too—I just throw my MacBook Pro, some cords, and business cards in the side pocket (inside) and I’m all set to carry on. This is the bag I’ve been waiting for my entire business travel life…I’m glad I’ve got it.
For Thanksgiving we went to hang out with some friends in Coronado for 2 nights. Took this bad boy with me and not only was it amazing with what it can hold but the looks were drawing a lot of attention. Had several “hey man, love that bag” from dudes that would never say anything about a bag to another “dude”. Anyway, the bag is amazing and looks classy AF. The only think I don’t like is storing the belt straps that wrap the bag when they’re not buckled.

I bought this bag for my husband who travels a lot and he did not like the way it opened and closed. I am going to return it and see if he wants to choose another bag. He thought it was lovely just not very practical.
