INVESTING IN THE NEXT GENERATION

Lion's Heart Academy is an all English private American school for preschool to 12th grade in Leon, Mexico.

This is the second school year at Lion's Heart Academy and there are now 50 students from kindergarten through 12th grade. We have 8 sponsored children, thanks to our leather family!

We've been able to accomplish a tremendous amount since we began less than two years ago. We have purchased and remodeled a lovely old Hacienda just minutes away from our factory. This allows our factory workers to bring their children with ease. We are praying for the land next door to the school to become available so we can expand in the future.

This past year we remodeled our kitchen and finished phase 2 construction which added a cafeteria space as well as additional classroom space and bathrooms.

We have also partnered with Wheaton College in Chicago, Illinois. They are running a book drive to help us continue collecting books for our students. We have the most gorgeous library which our students love to spend time in. If you have some books appropriate for students K-12 and would like to donate them to the library, feel free to send them into our warehouse or bring them by the showroom.

Last but not least, we offer child sponsorship and we want to bring up little Samuel. Samuel‘s mother worked for our factory years ago and Samuel has been with us since he was a baby at the daycare. Samuel‘s mother recently passed away due to Lupus and her battle was lost. Samuel‘s aunt now cares for him and wants him desperately to attend Lion's Heart Academy. Unfortunately, we are unable to afford to give everyone free schooling but we feel that God will prompt someone’s heart to help bring Samuel back home.

Sponsorship is $200 a month year-round. We do it this way in order to keep it simple. Your donation or sponsorship is tax deductible.
