David Livingstone (1813-1873)
Is a man worthy of honor. He was a British missionary who died while trailblazing and mapping out Southern and Central Africa to establish dozens of mission stations for those to follow. His heart was buried in Africa and his body was buried at Westminster Abbey in London. This painting was of him arriving at the Royal Geographical Society, of which he was a revered member.
