Leather Chess Board
Beautiful chess board. Leather is top quality and I love the portability of it. Folds and stores pretty easily and I look forward to seeing it develop a nice patina over time. Chess pieces are wooden and nicely made but I would have loved to see more premium pieces with a little added weight to them. Overall though, it’s a beautiful item to add to your collection.

First off, quality and craftsmanship are second to none, and are typical to Saddleback Leather. No matter where I travel..serious RV camper here, I’m almost always asked where did you get that. It has certainly revived interest in an old game (checkers) and enhances an even older game, chess…they even provide two Queens…which almost never happens. I have suggested a couple product improvements and have received a favourable response. Great company, great products and very responsive staff. AND YES…THERE WILL BE FIGHTS OVER THIS WHEN IM GONE. Just like my other SB products. In my opinion…you can not go wrong with this.

A Keeper!
As a former club and tournament player, this leather travel chess set is definitely above the usual plastic club and tournament sets. Though a little pricey, this is a well designed and put together (and nice smelling) travel set that I like to show to other chess players. This set is going to be a keeper for me.
