LOVE 41
Our hope is that you’ll be proud of your bag because of the compliments you get and how long it lasts. But our deeper hope is that you join our community of those nurturing the vulnerable and loving the unloved. We do more than just quality leather bags; we do quality in all areas of our business.
Our purpose is not to change the world by loving orphans, single moms and ex-prisoners one at a time. It’s to work with a Love 41 community/family of loving and nurturing people to do it. If you want to but you’re not sure how, then join us on Facebook or sign up for our newsletter to learn more. We’ll help you get plugged in.
Read MoreWe use only the best: full-grain leather, strong pigskin lining and premium marine-grade thread (the kind used on ships sails). Lasts a lifetime - simply switch out a new notebook and keep the worn and patinaed leather journal cover on the new A5 Leuchtturm1917, Moleskine® journals or your choice of planner, journal, or notepad that measures up to 5.5" wide and 8.5" tall. Hardcover journals and planners fit best. Can be used with most similarly sized non-Moleskine or Leuchtturm journals and becomes especially beautiful with age. Recycle the A5 cover for years of journal use. Leather Journal Cover only. Journal not included.
---We are very aware of the controversy of the newer company, Moleskine from 1997, taking the design and functionality of the Leuchtturm1917 and taking it to market in a big and popular way. We call it a Leather Moleskine Cover because it fits both perfectly, plus dozens of other brands and sizes, but we are usually in favor of the original, if they are quality and innovative. We have employees who only use Leuchtturm1917 journals because they like how the pages are each numbered and that they have a table of contents that you can put in there to find notes. It's interesting the controversy. Bottom line, we make quality leather journal and planner covers for quality designs. My first Saddleback Leather purchase was the Large Classic Leather Briefcase in 2015. The Moleskine Cover has been fantastic just like the briefcase. I am never disappointed by the quality and craftsmanship of the products. This Moleskine Cover was purchased for a good friend of mine from college. I know he will thoroughly enjoy it. I buy these covers for my organization as well as some of the other products. I also own two of them myself. Great job guys! F. Singletary

Amazing quality. All you have to do is pick it up and you’ll know why your kids will fight over it when you’re dead. And smells great (seriously - lol).

I bought the tobacco color medium for my moleskin notebook. It is Gorgeous! It fits perfect. I use it for bible study notes and it fits nicely in my purse. I like how you can carry a pen with it on the elastic band. I am very happy with my purchase! Thank you Saddleback!

I bought this about a month ago (medium/chestnut). Typical flawless workmanship, well thought out design. In world of endless, mindless and senseless meetings, it brings a certain panache to the conference table and reminds me that there are better things out there. Thanks for providing quality and inspiration. Bravo Zulu, SBL!

I love the Moleskine brand, and of course I love SBL, so combining the two has been GREAT! I've been journaling since I was 16 (many decades ago), and this cover seems to inspire me to write even more. I carry it around with me all day. It's stiff, yes, but it's easy to manage. It lays down flat if you want, but closes well with the Moleskine rubber band holder (not sure what that's called). One great perk is I can prop it on my knee or the arm of my chair and write, write, write! Been writing so much I need to wear my thumb splint (luckily I can write well with it on too). I'm about halfway through this journal, and already planning on buying two more. I've got both the small and medium. Only gripe (if you can call it that) was at the time, the tobacco color wasn't available (all my SBL products are tobacco). Still looks great in contrast with my tobacco medium cover.
