Doesn't work for messenger bag
I have several Saddleback products and am generally very pleased. I own the messenger bag, everyday use and travel the world. Was excited to get this product and finally stop the ballet of balancing the messenger bag on top of my carry-on bag. Unfortunately this missed the mark with 2 serious flaws: 1) the clips don't open wide enough to secure to the D rings on my messenger bag; 2) the strap does not tighten down enough to secure the bag, needs to tighten by about 3 more inches. Simple product, surprised it missed the mark by so much. Typically the attention to detail is exquisite, unfortunately that isn't the case this time.

Luggage Strap
I’ve had my bag for a number of years, but I finally got this strap. How much of a difference a small item like this makes…! I only travel with carry on luggage, I’m a minimalist, and rolling through airports, this made all the difference. I love this company with all my heart: what it makes, and what it stands for - and especially being rooted in quite a conservative worldview, you never stop trying new, and bringing new products to the line. We all live in some way to make a difference in the world… you do :pray::skin-tone-3::heart:️

Fits on my Canvas
Fits the Front Pocket Weatherproof Canvas Messenger Bag. Very close to not fitting though. Regardless, you guys should have a canvas version as well!

Much needed addition for Road Warriors!
Strap is great and works as designed. Note: Will not work with Pilot flight bag, as the "D Rings" are offset and strap is too short.
