Over-Engineering
We use only the best materials: full-grain leather (as much of the cow as you can get, short of the moo), and premium, marine-grade thread (the kind used on shipping sails). Designed to strap around the handles of your luggage carrier and clip on to the rings of your bag. Double layer of chrome leather. It has two stainless steel swivel clasps for each attachment to a bag. There are twelve holes for easy adjustments and buckle closure for security. The tightly buckled strap keeps the bag from shifting when carried on rolling luggage.

    Perfect match and fit

    This Luggage Strap matches and fits my Slim Briefcase perfectly. As always with Saddleback products it is extremely well built and will last a lifetime.

    This strap is easy, functional and extra durable. My only wish is that the hardware matched my limited edition black Love 41 weekender, which is what I use it for.

    Doesn't work for messenger bag

    I have several Saddleback products and am generally very pleased. I own the messenger bag, everyday use and travel the world. Was excited to get this product and finally stop the ballet of balancing the messenger bag on top of my carry-on bag. Unfortunately this missed the mark with 2 serious flaws: 1) the clips don't open wide enough to secure to the D rings on my messenger bag; 2) the strap does not tighten down enough to secure the bag, needs to tighten by about 3 more inches.

    Simple product, surprised it missed the mark by so much. Typically the attention to detail is exquisite, unfortunately that isn't the case this time.
