The Small Trunk was designed with the intention of it becoming a family heirloom, while still offering significant functionality, and I think we accomplished that. Set the Small Trunk up as a coffee table or at the end of the bed. It can also be stood on either side to serve as a nightstand or side table, giving you the choice of which way you want the lid to swing. There are two removable shelves/dividers so you can fit larger things in there if you want. This is a piece that is sure to stay in the familiy that they'll fight over when you're dead.
