OH MAN, OKAY - So Ive NEVER done this type of club before so I was quite nervous and excited! I work at a fast food place and so money is TIGHT to say the least but I COULD NOT PASS THIS UP. I saw the value IMMEDIATELY and have NO REGRETS! The quality items you get for the cost is UNHEARD OF. When I got the leather delivered and opened the boxes I was FREAKING BLOWN AWAY! LITERALLY at that moment I KNEW that THIS IS MY OFFICIAL BRAND. I knew that no other leather company will EVER have my loyalty- I was just floored by the quality, construction, feel, smell and EVERYTHING - I could NOT find 1 dang thing to complain about! Not to mention all of the other goodies you get besides the leather! Are you kidding me?! THIS IS MY FINAL DESTINATION. IM HOME. FINALLY. ;)
There is one thing about Saddleback, the designs are unique and impecable, and on top of of that the leather is absolutely beautiful. Ive got Dark Coffee Brown, which has the perfect tone and darkness for it to be so beautiful now, and even more beautiful once it ages and creates that amazing patina. Im so in love that Ive got the Club memberships 2023 and 2024 within just a few months away, almost instantly. The double sided Military Duffel is beautiful and massive, the 14" overnight is beautiful but just a bit smaller than I imagined from the pictures. Is my new gym bag, my gym smells now of beautiful leather every time I go.. There’s in only one way for me now… to increase my Saddleback Collection every year. Im already tasting that moment when the new one arrives, to open the box, smell that leather and uncover my next new love.
The leather treasures arrived this evening. Absolutely stunning! And the fragrance of that genuine leather is like no other. I literally placed the items by my bed so I can get that smell all night?.
My honest 5 star review: Pros: - Outstanding leather. I love the tumbled leather feel. I'm sure there is an employee that has recommended a leather jacket made of tumbled leather. Please find this person...promote them...and then begin production immediately. - The 14" overnight bag is gorgeous (I got tobacco) and makes a great bag for short trips. - The toiletry bag is quite nice...it will be used often for exactly that purpose! Cons: - I don't feel this is quite the value that the previous 2023 version was with the military two-sided duffle. That was a high bar and I understand how difficult it is to meet...but maybe drop the price a bit to compensate. - Every bag has a weak point. I think the first part to break on the 14" overnight bag will be the strap buckle. While it is not a full weight-bearing part, I do crank down on that strap with a lot of force...and this is the only connection point that is not reinforced with boot leather on the opposite side. Just my 2 cents. - I got the 14" overnight bag primarily as an incredibly swanky gym bag. It's a bit on the small side for that purpose (at least for me), but I've been able to make due. Most of the pictures and videos show the bag out in front of a person, which gives an impression that it is larger. Make sure you look at the measurements and understand that it is just slightly larger in footprint than a shoe box. Overall: Despite the cons, this is still an outstanding product. Great leather and I'm happy I got it!
