Manufactured to the highest quality standards

The Love 41 Wanderer's Leather Backpack is made from full-grain (i.e. super tough) leather. This leather backpack is both beautiful and durable because it has been crafted to the highest of quality standards.

Materials

This women's leather backpack is made of the highest grade of leather available. It's called full grain because none of the tough and super resistant fibers that grow together on top of the hide, have been removed. Some designers use the leather that has had that part split off so there's no blemish to be found and that leather is way cheaper. Having a leather backpack made out of that leather is like having a roof without any shingles. Because full-grain leather is the strongest cow leather on the planet (and the most beautiful in our opinion) that is why we choose to use it. The leather backpack is stitched together with the strongest thread we could find, a German polyester thread, and finished off with antique brass hardware. Our zippers are some of the highest quality zippers we could find. They come from Spain.

Functionality

This leather backpack is extremely functional. It is large enough to be used for a cross-country trip, but works just as well for a day in the city and fits most 15 inch laptops. The front closure comes with a zipper and a flap for an extra security. To provide additional functionality, this leather backpack has one zippered side pocket on each side as well as one zippered interior pocket. Our New Design on the Wanderers Backpack now comes with a luggage strap so you can secure it to you luggage.

The story behind this leather backpack

This leather backpack was designed to age nicely so you'll get you loads of compliments and look good while getting them. It was built to be handed down to and used by your granddaughter. The quality comes with the full grain leather and the thread we use to sew it together. Full grain is the strongest and most water resistant leather there is and the thread is the toughest there is. Unlike Nylon our Polyester thread does not deteriorate when the sun hits this leather backpack.&&I've always wanted to design a traditional style leather backpack that could be worn for either a day in the city or an outing in the country and I love the way this one turned out. and I've taken mine on several outings and international trips and it was simply amazing! I especially love the drop-dead gorgeous leather with its fabulous all-natural finish. The size is just right and the closure has both a zipper and a flap to provide an extra measure of security - a real plus when you're traveling. The Love 41 Wanderers Leather Backpack is the first of its kind for us and I think you'll agree that it's a great addition to our lineup.

Great size!

I love this backpack. I got it in black and the leather has softened up a lot since I first got it a week ago. It’s super comfy against my back and I’m also very pleased that the side pockets are bigger and stretchier than I imagined; they can hold my kids sippy cups! A few L41 staples that I miss on this bag are the key fob and an a large exterior slip pocket. Overall I LOVE this backpack, it’s a great size and a decent weight. PS the black is very dusty :slightly_smiling:
