Recently I was in the Fort Worth area on business and decided to pop into the store. The smell of leather was fantastic! I have a number of Saddleback briefcases, but was interested in looking at the Front Door Briefcase. I really like the size of this case as an everyday carry to work. The front door feature is great, and allows me to quickly put smaller objects in the bag. I wound up buying the dark coffee brown bag and have been using it as my daily carry. The only small issue I have is when carrying 8-1/2" x 11" manilla folders. The inside width of the bag is the exact width of the manilla folder, so cannot easily throw files into the bag. I wish it was like 1/4" wider! Other than that small complaint, the bag works great and looks even better. Can't beat a Saddleback bag for durability!
I had a few formal business meetings and needed a new carryon/laptop bag. I own a MacBook Pro 14 inch. I cannot stress how perfect this bag is. It looks smaller than it really is inside. The front compartment expands into the main compartment. I put my laptop and notebook in the main section and all my various chargers, headphones, passport, etc went into the front pocket. It is build to last forever - I couldn't be happier.
This bag really surpassed all expectations. Perfect size, beautiful color and it will age gracefully. Amazing!
Its a cool concept but not practical at all. Its more of a ladies purse then a briefcase. It doesn't stand up on its own and is hard to use with one hand. the front door is so big its hard to organize anything in it. Not horrible but definitely not the best design SBL has ever put out.
