This large leather portfolio nicely fits a 13" MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, any size iPad Pro and normal file folders in the left side pocket. It was designed for 8 ½ x 11 letter size or European A4 notepad on the right side from above or a spiral notebook from the side since that flap is sewn only on two sides. It comes with two pen holders designed to fit a wide range of thickness of pens or Apple Pencil securely. And the leather padfolio was made with no breakable parts. The closure is just a strap and a butterfly slot.

Beyond Genuine Leather, Full Grain Leather
We only use full grain to make this large leather portfolio, and it's thicker than boot leather. Full grain leather is essential since the grain is the toughest and most water resistant part of the leather. Low quality leather portfolio companies shave off the top of the hide to get rid of the scars and blemishes so they don't have to cut around them and throw all of that leather in the trash.
In doing so, these types of businesses shave off the grain. That's like shaving the shingles off of your roof. They can still sell them as genuine leather portfolios, or real leather, even if it is missing the best part and won't last. We don't use top grain or genuine leather in our collection of leather designs because it's not as strong as full grain. Those terms are just marketing ploys to get people to think they are getting something special when in reality it is lower quality than full grain leather portfolios. And bonded leather is just scrap leather glued and pressed together and should be avoided at all costs. It's not going to last, it's not going to look good, and it will probably fall apart on you when you absolutely need it the most.

We lined this high quality leather portfolio with smooth pigskin so it lasts a long, long time and so papers slide smoothly in and out. And the pigskin is stronger than the cowskin. So when you make this combination, you end up with a large portfolio that looks fantastic, feels great, works perfectly, and will last for decades.
Thread-
We sew our leather portfolio with an extremely strong UV resistant industrial marine grade polyester that just won't fall apart or wear away easily. They use this German thread when it just has to last, or someone could die. Like for parachutes and sails on ships.
An Elegant Pen Holder
A pen holder on each side also looks just as elegant as the portfolio itself. The pen holders are sewn in a secure and convenient location with the same UV resistant thread, so they will be easy to access your pens and last a long time too.

It Comes in Four Colors
Pick your color. You can get this in classic tobacco leather, dark coffee brown, chestnut, and black.
