If you're looking for a bag to use during the weekend or when you're off work, this is the one for you. It's the perfect size to fit anything you might need on a day out. It's well built, not very heavy and beautiful. I've been using this bag for about two years now and I've enjoyed every minute of it.
I own a lot of bags. I have owned a lot of leather bags which were really nice to look at and use until their threads and other stuff started falling apart. So sad! This bag is made with such quality that it is really impossible to describe until you have it in your hands. When I walk down the street with this bag which is holding my 10 inch notepad, camera, phone, book, and other stuff in it like water, I know that they are really protected as good as can be expected. This tough but attractive satchel does just what I wanted. It carries a few necessities - iPad, notebooks, flashlight, bag of nuts, a book or two - without crowding. Plus, I get compliments on its appearance most places I go. I figured it was borderline spendy but I soon realized the old saying, "You get what you pay for." This wonderful satchel is fully capable of outliving me and worth every cent. Oh, and the workmanship itself is surprisingly beautiful.
Well I totally underestimated this bag. I own a crazy number of SBL bags, and somehow really never got around to this one until recently. But it's great! I'm back to order it again in a second color. (Number one in chestnut, now number two in tobacco.) It's perfect when I want to downsize a bit, but it is still solid as they come for a smaller bag. I also like how it is a slim profile, so it rides close to the body - but again, solid, solid, solid. Wish I had ordered one of these a long time ago!
After becoming disabled and needing a cane to assist me with walking, it became a lot harder to carry things like deli sandwiches, water bottles, mail, books and even my cell phone. I looked for simple messenger bags but all of them were for laptops or at least built for them. This well made masculine and simple but practical satchel fit the bill perfectly for those moments I don't need to carry my laptop, I have a briefcase for that along with all of my essentials like my check book, folios, and other tech gear. One large pouch with a small pouch inside and one on back make this perfect for those quick trips to the market, post office, pharmacy or any place I don't need to lug my larger stuff with me. I can tell that It will last for years and be a joy to carry with me wherever I go.
