Redesigned!
I already had two of the former Cable Bags in chestnut and DCB. One I had used to hold personal and eye care items in my larger bags. The other I use to store my stupidly large collection of D&D dice. But this week I received one of the new Organizer Bags in tobacco as part of the recent promo on a canvas Front Pocket Gear Bag. My initial impression is that removal of the gusset results in a larger internal space. Which means more room for additional items, especially smaller ones. I also like that the shorter lace means fewer wraps around the bag to secure. One further note: With the old design it was easier to fold the top over onto a half-full bag and lash it down. When I do this with an older bag it can fit into a front pocket of my new FPGB. However, this technique is less natural on the Organizer Bag, and at full size it will not fit into the FOBG front pockets.

Typical saddleback quality!
When I upgraded to the slim laptop bag, I didn’t have an adequate place to keep my pens, pencils, highlighters, and other small items. This cable bag is the perfect size for my small items and fits snugly in my saddleback briefcase.

You get what you pay for.
I can't believe I bought this small leather pouch for this kind of money. It's expensive but I was desperate to organize the charging cables I have for an iPad, iPen (the pen itself sits horizontally as the last item under the flap), and a laptop. That said, it is the best purchase I have ever made for computer cords and etc. While I'd like it about an inch wider to accommodate the pen, it is outstanding. No regrets.

I love my cable (gadget) bag. I've purchased several as gifts and everyone loves them. Perfect for the small items that run away in your tote, bag, purse, or truck ie chapstick, eye drops, etc. Perfect to hold my phone, pens, notepad, business cards.
