What's the difference: Shearling vs Sheepskin, Scuff vs Slipper, Suede vs Full grain leather and other terminology you need to understand. Why are some slippers so expensive and some so cheap? What characteristics define the best sheepskin slippers?

Here's how to clean sheepskin slippers if they get stinky, which mainly happens if your sheepskin slippers are made with a lot of synthetic and faux materials. That's where bacteria grows. But if you own Saddleback Leather Sheepskin Slippers, that won't be a problem because they're designed with 95% natural materials that breathe and wick moisture away. To keep yours fresh, clean with these simple guidelines.
---
Always rinse your feet off before wearing your sheepskin slippers. They could stink if your feet already stink when you slip them in. Light Stink - Sprinkle baking soda inside and leave them for 24 hour. Then vacuum them out. Medium to High Stink - Leaving them in the freezer for 48 hours will help.
---
If someone or something really bad happened to them, here's how to clean Sheepskin Slippers. Sheepskin Inside - Lightly dampen the sheepskin and then lightly shampoo it with shampoo. DO NOT use detergents. Stuff an absorbent towel in there and step on it for 10 seconds. Turn the towel to a dry spot and do it again. Do not try to dry it quickly. Let it dry at room temperature in a place with good airflow or with a fan on it. No blow dryers. Full Grain Leather Upper - Gently wipe with a damp cloth. Saddleback uses full grain leather so it's pretty much unaffected by water. Chamberlain's Leather Milk is a nice option for annual conditioning. Suede, Split or Genuine Leather Upper (not Saddleback Leather's Sheepskin Slippers - Be careful cleaning suede. We're not really sure how to clean it. Google it. Leather Sole - Gently wipe with a damp cloth. Chamberlain's Leather Milk is a nice option for annual conditioning.
I'm a Saddleback regular :-) I wear a mens 7.5 or 8 in most shoe brands, have high-ish arches, and sometimes order 8.5 in certain brands. I second-guessed myself and ordered these slippers in mens size 9. They are awesome and I'm not returning them, but I do wish I had stuck to the True-to-Size guidelines and ordered the size 8. Hope that helps future shoppers. Thanks, Dave and team, for an awesome product!

Very decadent and not too hot. They look like they’ll last long enough to be worth the price—slippers tend not to last long with me, but these are looking good

First of all, I love Saddleback products. However, I have been least pleased with my slippers. I bought my wife and I a pair and we both rate them a 3. They are just not as comfortable as we had hoped. The leather is typical Saddleback top quality, but they need more cushion. We wanted to love them, but they are simply ok.

These are incredible. I was debating whether the cost was worth it, but the second I unboxed them and tried them on, realized these are worth EVERY penny! These are INCREDIBLE quality, fit perfectly true to size, and the leather melds perfectly to your foot within a day. They’re not kidding - make sure to scuff them up! Best slippers I’ve ever owned BY FAR.

Overall this is a very well made sheepskin slippers and can be used outside but some care is needed when walking as the sole comes slippery when new. This will burn in with time. One recommendation is to get a size above if you need a full coverage of your legs. A downside for Saddleback team is that the complementary leather pieces or labels provided during every saddle back purchase is not included. Small detail but one of the key experiences in a new saddle back purchase
