Love 41 - Two Compartment Duffle
This bag is fabulous. Tons of great features from top to bottom: Starting with the comfortable crossbody strap with the snap-on shoulder pad and the rolled handles. Then the wide opening… to die for. Similar to the SBL big mouth openings but not quite as rigid, and with addition of a silky smooth zipper. Unlike many zipper duffels that you have to take everything out to see what’s at the bottom, this opening lets you easily get to whatever is at the bottom (and this bag is deep!). The inside pockets are a good size- two slip pockets on one side and a generous zipper pocket on the other. I also love having a trolley sleeve on the bag. Then the bottom zipper compartment!! With ventilation holes for you stinky shoes or your dirty clothes). At first glance, I thought the bottom wasn’t as deep as I had imagined, but it was actually perfect even with bulky or tennis shoes. And the floor of the top section, which is of course the top to the bottom section seems to have a little padding and some gift to it so even if you’re shoes lay a little bit taller than the bottom compartment you have room. I was worried about the weight for this size bag with the heavy duty zippers, but with the pigskin leather it’s much lighter than it would be in cow leather. I also was unsure about color… I wanted tobacco but it was out of stock and I decided to get DCB. I was afraid it might look kind of blah and lack character and not have much dimension to the color, but it’s gorgeous! I do a lot of road trips, but also air travel, and this bag is great for both. And I have those bags that are my favorites for the looks and others for the function… this one hits the sweet spot on looks, function, by land or by air. Love love love!

I was asked to test this bag out as I travel frequently and love all of Saddlback and Love 41 products. This bag fit all my essentials for a weekend trip. I was able to put 2 pairs of shoes in the bottom compartment with room to spare. Love this bag and it's gorgeous!
