Great quality bag. Design is average. The front door pops open without the strap closure to hold it. The bag does not stand up on its own with or without the front door open. Great space but impractical for me since it falls over and you need 2 hands to operate it at all times. The flight bag for me is the perfect bag.

This briefcase is my new EDC for work. I used to switch between the Flight Briefcase and the Thirteener, depending on how much I needed to carry on any given day. Not only is this design very elegant (the best yet in my opinion), but it's the perfect blend between my two other briefcases for my needs. Neither too heavy, nor too thin to carry my work laptop, notebook, planner, and other stuff. Great job Dave and team, thank you!

I wanted a bag that was small and looked great for work. I've been looking at the SBL website for years and nothing has spoken to me until now. I chose the my 14" in black and it is a stunner. The front pocket is perfect. I could fit all my gear in there. I can't fit my 13 inch laptop in the floppy pigskin divider in the main compartment, but it fits fine outside the divider. I could also add folders with 8.5" x 11" papers in the main compartment with the laptop.

I love this briefcase! I’m using it as a small attache case — just my 13” inch work laptop and a couple folders full of letter size documents. The front door pocket — brilliant! — holds everything else: travel mouse, AirPods, pen/pencil case, charger, gadget bag, and keys, with plenty of room to spare. Outside pocket on other side for tickets, phone. A perfect complement to my usual everyday bag, the barrister’s briefcase. I wanted a smaller bag for short trips and weekend use. This will be the perfect carry-on for work stuff, as well. Just realize this is a small bag — not wide enough for legal size docs unfolded. I wouldn’t be surprised if demand emerges for a larger size version of this awesome design. Best part: like all Saddleback bags, it will get better looking everyday with battle scars and use.

10-stars! This is my fifth Saddleback bag. I have the Thirteener Thin Leather Briefcase, which until this point was my regular carry, the Slim Briefcase, The Flight Bag, and the Front Pocket Backpack. All are excellent quality, but all were lacking in one way or another for my needs. This bag is exactly what I have been looking for! It's the perfect size for me. I love how the front pocket works; it keeps everything that would typically be loose in the bottom of my bag neatly stored—great work to the team at SBL! Should I ever give an SBL bag as a gift, this is the bag.
