This is a classically elegant and well made way to protect my laptop. Mine has an open notch on the 'bottom' end that makes it somewhat easier to remove the laptop. It is a good size for my MacBook Air and also serves as a desk pad, writing pad, giant coaster. I have a few of these sleeves in different sizes and horizontals/vertical orientations. I use these to organize files and correspondence. I do prefer the vertical model as it eliminates the center seam of the horizontal design and makes for a flatter work surface. Handy to have around, simple in design, attractive and sturdy. Not bad attributes for any of us in 2021, yes? I highly recommend this piece. Thanks to the SBL team for another great design, flawlessly executed.
