Functional, Durable AND Attractive!
After over a year of ownership, I can easily say this is a great product. I carry it with me just about everywhere. It's been with me on military ships, in my office, and on vacation. It gets comments from people asking where they can get one. It's developed some wear pattern, and some scuffs/scrapes, plus a spot of lubricating grease from when I was careless one time through a hatch. But that's just "character" right? I've treated the leather with mink oil once so far and it's doing very well. I like the folder flaps on the covers. Those help keep a couple loose papers secured. The pocket on the front is also very nice to keep smaller docs safe. Worth keeping in mind; the pen sleeve is also full-grain leather, so many pens' retainer clip might have a hard time fitting over that. I appreciate the durability, and it does wear in over time...but it's just worth knowing. I absolutely would buy this again! My load out: Franklin/Covey 2pg/day planner. I fit 3 months, plus the monthly tabs and note pages.

Last Organizer You Will Ever Buy
Typically, when I order a product and use it every day, I forget to come back and leave a review because the product blends quickly into mundanity. It does the job I needed it for, perhaps not perfectly, but to a satisfactory degree. With this product, every time I use it, it exceeds satisfaction. It genuinely feels like this binder is an extension of myself: fully customizable to my needs, and made so well that it'll outlive me. I've kept a leather journal with swappable inserts for a few years now, but my biggest frustration with it was that once the insert was full, I had to start with a completely blank book and was unable to reference stuff I'd written previously. The binder hardware is sturdy, and the jaws lock together really well--none of the misalignment you get with cheap binders. The number of card slots and built-in folders on the front and back covers is awesome, and the pen-holder is quickly setting a new standard for me. I picked up some dividers with folders to give myself a couple more loose-leaf options, and it's been nice to be able to tuck index cards or anything else into those extra pockets.

The Family Book of Life
My wife is a meticulous planner. She has had a planner and used it religiously for years, but has had trouble finding something truly useful each year that wasn't made of junk, or a single use yearly planner. This takes the cake. Our family humorously calls her planner the "Book of Life" because of something important for the family needs to be in anyway recorded ......it is in there. This binder has made her day. I use a Barrister's Bag every single work day of my life. It is superb. My wife uses and Everyday Purse and loves it. This binder is equally as good. It is just what she wanted and it will be the Book of Life for the rest of her life. Well done. Only negative is that a tiny end piece of the stitching wasn't finished off well a d I had to mend it. Other wise, all good. Is it expensive....NO! IT IS THE LAST PLANNER I HAVE TO BUY! Thanks, Dave and team!

Perfect
I am still in the old school where I write all my schedules in a binder. I love this binder so much that I ordered 2 (tobacco and DCB). I used the other one for my work schedule and the other one for my personal use where I could put all my expenses and my wishlist. It was very convenient and functional that I can flip pages to see what I needed to do and remember. It’s very well made and I love the leather of course.

7 Ring Binder
I now own over a dozen SaddleBack products. Each one is crafted to perfection. They pay incredible attention to detail, the customer service is top notch and the quality of the product is as well. I used the Franklin Covey Classic size planner pages and they fit perfectly into the planner. I highly recommend!!
