I've actually purchased three of these! I bought the original DCB version as soon as it was released and absolutely loved it. Then bought a western cedar as a graduation gift - it quickly became one of the recipient's prized possessions. Recently my daughter seemed to have permanently borrowed my DCB backpack, so I took the opportunity to purchase the updated design with trolley strap in DCB for myself. Thank you, L41 team, for the trolley strap - so very useful! Also, I want to note that the DCB used now is different than the original release - recent bags are the traditional (but thinner?) DCB with pull up that we know and love. My original DCB Wanderer's BP was a matte finish without pullup, but the finish is super durable. I actually love and appreciate both! The design is fantastic - plenty of room, pockets, hidden pockets, lightweight, comfortable straps. Perfect size to fit under seat on a flight. I use it for work and day trips, but I pack too much to use it as an overnight bag, though many people could. The only thing I would wish for is an attached key fob inside. Other than that, perfection! Get one (or three:)!
I purchased the wanderer's backpack in black, and I love it. The backpack is very comfortable. It is also really spacious. I put a backpack organizer in mine, and it works great with a little space on the size for an extra item or two. I have packed it up for several family outings now, and I'm able to carry everything I need for myself and my kids in it. I'm expecting to use this bag as a road-trip and hiking backpack as well (think national parks vacations) where I need to be able to carry water, snacks, bug repellent, sunscreen, etc. It will fit all of these things, and the dusty black color will not need to be babied. It will look great even if it gets a little extra "dusty". I also love the little tassel zipper pulls, and would love to see those touches on other bags too. Great design, and I highly recommend.

This bag is gorgeous!! I got it to use as a baby bag and it’s just perfect. I also wanted to note I’m plus size and the straps are just perfect for me. My husband can also comfortably wear it in a pinch. Now I need more eeeeeek!
This is the PERFECT Backpack!! Extra security with the zippers. Perfect pocket inside for organization. Easy to open and close. SUPER COMFORTABLE on your back - And now it has the luggage slide on the back - What else could you ask for!! BTW - Have the Carbon Black (SOOOOOO Dusty) and the Tobacco! Get the TOBACCO Ladies - Light and Velvety - You won't be sorry!!
