    Awesome Versatility and Comfort!

I bought this backpack a while ago because it looked so classy and gorgeous (Chestnut color), and I finally got to test it out in three different settings during a recent trip. (1) As an airplane personal carry-on item it provided just the right amount of organization with the various pockets and fit easily underneath the chair in front of me (I had it about 3/4 full); (2) we went on a hike and got totally rained out - the bag was wet, but the inside stayed completely dry, and the leather dried quickly without leaving any water spots on the leather; and finally (3) as an overnight bag for a 1-night hotel stay, where it easily fit a change of clothes, PJ, toiletry bag, electronics like iPad, phone and chargers, and my journaling supplies. I am extremely happy with this bag and will cherish it for years to come! And even when stuffed to the max, it's comfortable to wear with those wide and cushioned straps. It may seem heavy when you lift it up by the handle, but once it's on your back, it feels great and doesn't strain your shoulders. Oh, and the strap on the back of the bag came in so handy to put it over the handles of my roller suitcase and pull it across the entire airport. The zipper and flap combination for the pockets and the main compartment felt really secure, I didn't worry about anybody trying to pickpocket me. And finally, the quality of this backpack is top notch - I love the unlined inside, the feel of the hide, and the solid hardware. I'm in love with this bag and can't wait to take it on my next adventure!

    Wanderer's WONDERFUL backpack

I have waited over a year to make the purchase for the Wanderer's leather backpack. I purchased it in Tobacco and it is gorgeous. I love all of the secure pockets for use during travel and keeping things safe. My laptop fits inside it as well! The strap on the back fits nicely over the handle on my carry on luggage. I purchased this to use for travel, but fell so in love with it that I am carrying it to work now in replace of the leather tote from saddleback (at least for a while) I would also like to purchase this in the Carbon Black! You won't go wrong with this purchase. I plan to take it to the farm this weekend with my toiletries and carry the Large Weekend Tote. I think the set of leather pouches in a different color would work perfect inside of this - that way you can see them easily and they make finding things a breeze. You won't regret this purchase!

    Best Backpack so far

I bought the original Wanderer’s backpack when it was first released. I have the Dark Coffee Brn, and it looks amazing after a few years of using it. I use it for business travel and it fits everything I need for work. I have even spilled a spinach smoothie inside of it and it cleaned up nicely without a trace of spinach. I recently bought the Little Big Mouth thinking it would be a better option through the airport, but it doesn’t have exterior pockets like the Wanderer, so I have went back to the Wanderer. I don’t need the new and improved luggage strap as I found the backpack comfortable to keep on throughout the airport, even over my parka in Canada! Such a great travel backpack. You wont be disappointed.

    LOVE!

I absolutely LOVE the Wanderer's! I have it is WC and Chestnut. :) I'm feeling I need to add to my collection to have them in all colors! LOL The hidden pockets are a really nice feature for lazy people like me.

    Feels aMAZing!

I can't stop rubbing this backpack! I got the black (aka dusty carbon) and it's about perfect. It is super secure with the rings and added nibble closure in addition to the zippers! It turned out to be too much security for my day-to-day activities, so I stopped using the rings and just used the zippers...this method has worked out great! The straps are comfortable and has multiple storage locations. I am on the fence though when it comes to hiking adventures; I tend to use a backpack while on the plane and then use that same backpack when hiking. This bag won't be big enough for me in those instances, but perfect for day tripping! Have I mentioned it FEELS AMAZING?!
