The Love 41 Wanderer's Leather Backpack is made from full-grain (i.e. super tough) leather. This leather backpack is both beautiful and durable because it has been crafted to the highest of quality standards.

Materials

This women's leather backpack is made of the highest grade of leather available. It's called full grain because none of the tough and super resistant fibers that grow together on top of the hide, have been removed. Some designers use the leather that has had that part split off so there's no blemish to be found and that leather is way cheaper. Having a leather backpack made out of that leather is like having a roof without any shingles. Because full-grain leather is the strongest cow leather on the planet (and the most beautiful in our opinion) that is why we choose to use it. The leather backpack is stitched together with the strongest thread we could find, a German polyester thread, and finished off with antique brass hardware. Our zippers are some of the highest quality zippers we could find. They come from Spain.

Functionality

This leather backpack is extremely functional. It is large enough to be used for a cross-country trip, but works just as well for a day in the city and fits most 15 inch laptops. The front closure comes with a zipper and a flap for an extra security. To provide additional functionality, this leather backpack has one zippered side pocket on each side as well as one zippered interior pocket. Our New Design on the Wanderers Backpack now comes with a luggage strap so you can secure it to you luggage.

The story behind this leather backpack

This leather backpack was designed to age nicely so you'll get you loads of compliments and look good while getting them. It was built to be handed down to and used by your granddaughter. The quality comes with the full grain leather and the thread we use to sew it together. Full grain is the strongest and most water resistant leather there is and the thread is the toughest there is. Unlike Nylon our Polyester thread does not deteriorate when the sun hits this leather backpack.&&I've always wanted to design a traditional style leather backpack that could be worn for either a day in the city or an outing in the country and I love the way this one turned out. and I've taken mine on several outings and international trips and it was simply amazing! I especially love the drop-dead gorgeous leather with its fabulous all-natural finish. The size is just right and the closure has both a zipper and a flap to provide an extra measure of security - a real plus when you're traveling. The Love 41 Wanderers Leather Backpack is the first of its kind for us and I think you'll agree that it's a great addition to our lineup.

Love love love this backpack

I purchased this backpack in tobacco and I am in love with it. It is so secure and comfortable. The leather is awesome and as soon as you open your box you know you made the right choice. Love 41 and Saddleback leather have my business from this day forward. I have gone from 1 item to 5 in less than 2 weeks because I am so in love with everything. Thank you guys!!!!

Love it

It carries laptop, large wallet, shoes and lunch! Amazing daily bag for commuting to work. Definitely not too big.

I absolutely LOVE this backpack! I received this as a gift (which I picked out) from my husband for my birthday (and he also bought me the Tassel Leather Backpack as a little surprise) Perfect. The leather feels wonderful and it's easy to wear. LOVE it!

Best travel companion

I just spent 5 days in Puerto Rico and brought the Wanderers Backpack along as my carry on. I have traveled several places over the years using all types of bags and I can honestly say this bag is 100% the best travel companion Ive ever used. At one point my husband even commented how perfect this bag was to bring on a trip. Its comfortable to wear, has several safe compartments and lots of space.

My Favorite Travel Companion

I have this bag in western cedar. It is floppy and soft straight from the box, yet somehow miraculously holds its shape. The quality is superb, and the warranty cant be beat. It is made with some sort of magic that allows it to fit comfortably on my back while holding a ton or just the essentials. The security of the side pockets allow me to keep my wallet both safe and easy to access. I will never take another trip without it!
