A Belt Built to Last — and a Company That Stands Behind It

I recently picked up the Old Bull Belt and I have to say—this thing is a beast (in the best way possible). The leather is thick, rugged, and know it’ll easily outlast any other belt I’ve owned. It has that rare, solid quality you can literally feel in your hands. I believe this could handle a great deal of abuse I honestly can’t imagine it ever giving out. I did mess up the sizing when I ordered (completely my fault), but Saddleback’s customer service team was fantastic. They made the exchange for a smaller size incredibly easy and stress-free. It’s clear they stand behind their products and genuinely care about their customers’ satisfaction. After this experience, I’m completely sold on Saddleback as a brand. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again, and I’ve already recommended the belt to a couple of friends. If you’re looking for gear that’s built to last and backed by real people, this is it.

    Disappointed in hardware change

Just purchased my third Old Bull belt, it’s been about 9 years since I purchased my last one. Both of my previous belts are still going strong, only reason I purchased a new one is that I’ve lost a good bit of weight so the old ones were too big. The new belt arrived today and the leather is great as usual and the new stainless buckle is nice too. My problem comes down to the new attaching hardware which are now permanent rivets. The older style belts used Chicago Screws, which were great as they allowed you to easily change buckles. The new rivets make changing buckles impossible without drilling out the rivets and buying new hardware. I’ve subtracted one star because the product description talks about the new buckle, but says nothing about no longer being attached by Chicago Screws. I’m not sure how much of a cost savings these new rivets made for Saddle Back, but I would have gladly paid a bit more to have had the old hardware. So one step forward on the buckle and one step back on the hardware, my biggest issue is not telling people about the hardware change.

    Best belt

I’ve always owned cheap belts that fall apart within the year. They’re either too tight or too loose. I finally splurged on a Full Grain leather belt & do not regret it. It’s a perfect fit. There’s no sagging if you have your pockets stuffed. It’s not too tight where you’re sort’ve in pain to breathe. The buckle is heavy duty, so it’s got a nice hard latch that’s easy to undo. It’s a thick, solid piece of leather that even smells phenomenal even after wearing it a couple of weeks. I bought a full grain leather wallet from SaddleBack leather couple months back. That’s what essentially got me to order the belt. With this company, you’re getting quality USA made products. Definitely worth the money if you want to keep your stuff for a while.
