    Damn near perfection

I mean, the craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality doesn’t get any better than this! I’ve researched high end designer bags and the quality of my saddleback briefcase far surpasses everything else I’ve looked at. For some, the price point may be a bit steep, considering all options, I look at this bag as a long-term investment. I’m using it throughout my doctoral program and long into my career in mental health. Love this bag, love the company and their philosophy even more!

    This bag is beautiful. Bought

This bag is beautiful. Bought it for my husband for a birthday present. He can hardly take it anywhere without someone commenting on it. Now I’m considering buying one for myself!

Best Leather Briefcase for the Money

I bought my leather briefcase from Saddleback after trying a few competing brand products that did not survive the heavy use- stitching and hardware were coming apart. I have not had my Saddleback long enough to speak to the durability and stitching resilience of the product objectively, but at first glance they are a 200% improvement over competing brands I’ve used in the past, with better stitching (double to triple) and hardware all around. The only con that comes with sturdier leather, double lining, and high-end hardware is the added weight. However, I take the higher weight of the higher quality product gladly knowing my bag won’t come apart just from use. So far no issues with this bag and satisfied with my purchase. Will update post after longer use to provide an empirical review and any comments to the manufacturer I may have.

    After 10 years of use.

I got one of the original ones before the pigskin interior lining and the nicer front leather buckle. It’s banged up and still awesome! The burgundy has faded and I have used the Chamberlain’s leather products a few times to bring it back to life. It’s been about ten years... it’s a heavy bag! For daily office use it became too heavy. So for some time I stopped using it. But I came across a YouTube video about the best way to switch it into backpack mode, that was a game changer!! I have brought it back into action. It’s had a rough life and needs some more attention. I like the look of the new thirteener and I am going to go for tobacco colour this time.

    Nice job Dave.

Love the briefcase. Should have gotten it 10 years ago. Rugged but heavy. Love the smell too.
