    A keeper!!!

Ok, I've been eyeing the waterbag for years. As a matter of fact, it's was my first introduction to SBL. Saw it advertised, followed it to the site and then came back to drool over the bag for months. I finally plunked down the funds to buy the bag for a trip. I will tell you it's the next best thing next to sliced bread. I bought the medium bag. I was worried it wouldn't fit in the overhead compartment of the plane but I had no trouble at all. But I can't tell you the number of random strangers that touched my arm walking through the airport to ask me where I got the bag or to make a comment. The bag is a statement piece. Not to mention it held all the items I needed to pack.

My favorite Saddleback product so far!!

I have coveted this bag for years and finally pulled the trigger. So glad I did. I got the medium in tobacco, and I absolutely love the texture of the new tobacco. I have a large classic briefcase in chestnut and a large front pocket briefcase in tobacco, and my only complaint about the tobacco was that I prefer the less rugged (waxier, maybe?) feel of the other colors. The new tobacco doesn't have the same feel as the chestnut, but I prefer it over the older tobacco texture. This bag is awesome!!!

    OMG

Just received my medium Waterbag in tobacco; it must be the 'new' tobacco, as it is a shade darker and much less yellow than it appeared in the photos on the website when I purchased it. But wow! Every now and then, there occurs a perfect union of form and function; occasionally we get to possess these things. The waterbag is such an object. Simple, elegant, and rugged, it alone is sufficient to motivate me to go somewhere. I love that it has flexibility of capacity, that, when you want, you can practically fill it to its full height. And the 'new' tobacco brown is rather awesome too.

    Great utility bag

This is a beautiful bag. I purchased the medium waterbag for short trips away from home and everyday use in grocery store and market shopping. I break it down, roll it up, and carry it anywhere I'm going to need a tote for things brought home. The insert increases its versatility and stability if carrying bottles or cans. Though it's a little heavy and stiff when brand new, a sparing amount of mink oil and leather honey will soften it up and improve the carry. Well done SBL. God bless you for not being ashamed to share the scriptures and gospel of Jesus Christ. I'll make use of them also.

    Beautiful, versatile and tough

Love, love, love this bag. I bought the medium in chestnut about 18 months ago, and it has served as my go-to bag for my travels in the states, around Europe, and Central America. I often use it in back-pack mode when it gets a little heavy to carry by the handle (never been a fan of single shoulder straps). I love the fact that this bag actually makes me think about what I really do and do not need for my travels, and makes me put back all the spurious or unneeded items. I used the tall liner at first, then went to the short one, now I don't use the liner at all. I am sure there are some who always prefer to have the liner in, but I have found the bag to be much easier to handle without, and it also drops a few ounces off the bag. I get plenty of comments on it, and there is no shortage of admiring glances, either. It fits perfectly fine in the vast majority of overhead compartments, and I have only had to do planeside check with it one time (puddle jumper - no way it would fit). Overall, I would say that it is without a doubt the best carry on bag/duffel I have ever owned, and I seriously doubt I will ever have another. Thanks SBL for making what you make and doing what you do.
