    Item #3 and going!

Got my bag today and couldn't be more thrilled. This is to replace an inferior suede carry on (thanks for the leather education Dave) and it will definitely do the trick. Not only does it make me feel more confident that my bag won't fall apart (like mine did on a rented motorcycle on a California trip) but the square bottom is perfect for a luggage rack. The backpack feature is perfect since I can wear one bag (my front pocket backpack) then strap this over it, or crossbody, depending on how much I have. The add'l d rings will clip an errant helmet and keep me sane until I can put some things in the hotel room. Im envisioniong some awesome trips this upcoming spring! Even more exciting is the pigskin liner that makes carrying fishing rods and a cooler full of catfish a perfectly reasonable task for this bag, tote style. Of all four of my new digs, the versatility of this bag is the one I'm most excited about. Perfect for my family trip packing and my solo rough and rugged and wet trips alike.

"Incomparable" Large Waterbag-Maybe the best in the history of the world, honestly

My wife has now bought me a large briefcase, wallets, moleskines and now the Large Waterbag. I look at this bag and try to find words to describe it, but it is just singular, incomparable, and may be the finest bag ever made in the history of the world, the crazy thing is, that this is a true thought. One piece of hide.....Polyester thread....huge....secure, flexible, beautiful, there is nothing on the planet that can compare to it, then I thought how could anyone have ever made anything that compares before. The way the straps go down accross the one seam on the bag so that the load is not even carried by the seam is BRILLIANT Dave. I am looking forward to varying how I carry it. It is surprisingly light compared to my Large Briefcase, maybe the same weight but ten times bigger. To make things like Saddleback does, unique leather goods that may be the finest in the history of the world, is significant to our generation. Thank you for bringing this type of quality to our times Dave.

    A keeper!!!

Ok, I've been eyeing the waterbag for years. As a matter of fact, it's was my first introduction to SBL. Saw it advertised, followed it to the site and then came back to drool over the bag for months. I finally plunked down the funds to buy the bag for a trip. I will tell you it's the next best thing next to sliced bread. I bought the medium bag. I was worried it wouldn't fit in the overhead compartment of the plane but I had no trouble at all. But I can't tell you the number of random strangers that touched my arm walking through the airport to ask me where I got the bag or to make a comment. The bag is a statement piece. Not to mention it held all the items I needed to pack.

My favorite Saddleback product so far!!

I have coveted this bag for years and finally pulled the trigger. So glad I did. I got the medium in tobacco, and I absolutely love the texture of the new tobacco. I have a large classic briefcase in chestnut and a large front pocket briefcase in tobacco, and my only complaint about the tobacco was that I prefer the less rugged (waxier, maybe?) feel of the other colors. The new tobacco doesn't have the same feel as the chestnut, but I prefer it over the older tobacco texture. This bag is awesome!!!

    OMG

Just received my medium Waterbag in tobacco; it must be the 'new' tobacco, as it is a shade darker and much less yellow than it appeared in the photos on the website when I purchased it. But wow! Every now and then, there occurs a perfect union of form and function; occasionally we get to possess these things. The waterbag is such an object. Simple, elegant, and rugged, it alone is sufficient to motivate me to go somewhere. I love that it has flexibility of capacity, that, when you want, you can practically fill it to its full height. And the 'new' tobacco brown is rather awesome too.
