    Excellent choice for executive getaway.

Received my New Logo Black Hardsided Carryon today. This is the fourth one of these items but first in Black. This little gem is the perfect complement to my Hardsided Briefcase in the same color. Whether plane, train or automobile travel this is a practical size for three to four day travel. It is a very classy alternative to softsided luggage as it has a more formal look. I am a light packer by nature so I have no trouble packing a couple pair of pants, shirts, undergarments and shoes with room left over for a watch carrier, laptop or tablet and a toiletry bag. I have owned this particular piece of luggage in Chestnut, Tobacco and Tobacco with Walnut accents. The Black is by far the most sleek looking. I am perfectly happy with my selection and I am looking forward to many years of travel with it. Thank you Saddleback Leather.

    Beautiful, functional, perfect

This is just about the perfect travel case. It can hold anywhere from 2-6 days of clothing (business) or more (casual). It flawlessly fits on even the smallest jets, makes a great seat in busy airports, and even just looks good in a room at your destination. While I wanted something that I liked and was going to last, the constant compliments from airline stewards has been getting a little weird.

    Perfect carry on

I just received my Saddleback leather Hard sided carryon and must say it is as close to perfect as I can imagine. I ordered mine in Tobacco leather and am very impressed with the quality. I think I have all the different styles of tobacco leather and I like this one the best. My medium water bag was purchased in the old style tobacco leather... lighter and more of a yellow appearance. My classic briefcase was created in the "new" tobacco leather a couple years ago which is beautiful... also It was darker and varied in color and markings. It definitely has its own personality and over the years I have really grown to enjoy the bag as it has grown on me. The new Hard sided carry on is another style of the ' new' tobacco and I think much better in a lot of ways. Visually, it is darker of course but it is also very uniform in color. There is definitely a few markings and they really add to the character and beauty ... so well done. A very pleasing to the eye carry on. It is absolute perfection... It much live in my home where it can be seen. It does not belong in a closet at all. I put four days of clothes including my RON bag and a pair of shoes... everything fit. The beauty of this type of bag is that your clothes do not arrive too wrinkled from a trip and some things like iPads or laptops are better protected. I highly recommend this bag if you wanted a stunning carry on which will fit easily in the standard overhead compartments of an airplane ( i haven't tested the super small commuter jets yet).I don't think it would fit in those small jets... There is nothing else like this .... it's amazing

    Beautiful

This suitcase is gorgeous. I have been on three trips with it and have received compliments every time. I have been lusting over the suitcases for years now, but I just couldn't bear to have to part with such a nice piece of gear at check-in. When the carry on size appeared, I snatched one up. The size is perfect, and I haven't had to gate check it yet. It has, so far, fit well in all of the overhead bins of standard size commercial jets. I have been waiting to see how it fits in a smaller jet's overhead bin, and I am pleased to say that, while it took a little conversation with the bag, it did fit in the overhead of a CRJ-200. I usually travel for 4 nights and am able to put 5 days worth of clothes in there (not winter gear...). For my most recent trip, I had to take my 17" Dell Laptop with me, and it fit with no trouble along with all the clothes. The bag is a bit on the heavy side, and with the laptop, it was almost too heavy for me (I am a gal...), so the shoulder strap was very helpful there. When it is not traveling, it lives on display on top of the bookcase at home. I love this thing.
