    Great looking tag

    I bought the luggage tag in DCB. I love the color and it looks beautiful. I will report back after my upcoming trip regarding the buckle. I will note that it seems a little rougher leather than other products I've received but don't expect any issues. Thank you SBL.

    Nice product but call SLB before buying limited-release items to manage expectations

    Bought the luggage tag in Toffee during their Limited Days event. The tag looks great and works as advertised. However as other reviewers have pointed out, the buckle can come loose and this is further exacerbated by the Toffee being a veg tanned leather - it is much thinner than my other Tobacco luggage tag and this was not advertised during the Limited Days event. The Tobacco one I have is great and I've found that the thickness of that leather should help the tag stay on luggage during transit. Disappointment on the surprise thickness of the Toffee tag aside, I'll continue to be a SBL customer

    Fabulous, while I had it!

    I've purchased a handful of Saddleback/Love41 items within the past few months. All of them have met or exceeded expectations in terms of quality, and being as good as, or better than, I had hoped from reading the description. Sadly, the luggage tag fell off my bag during its maiden voyage. I had it on a carryon, so there's no chance it was 're-homed' by a baggage handler. As other buyers have mentioned, the strap for the tag was a bit short, and I'm afraid it came loose and slipped away from me in transit. A longer strap, or a different closure, would be an improvement.

    Perfect gift!

    I purchased the SB luggage tag as a Christmas gift for the boyfriend who happens to be in the military. I wanted to get him something that would be small, lightweight, functional, and be able to stand up to some serious abuse going out into the field. I am incredibly pleased to say it stands up to the test. Not only is it functional, the other Marines keep trying to steal it off his gear. Stylish and rugged, it is perfect for him, on and off the field and for when his EAS comes around, along with earning me some major brownie points with the guys.��The leather itself is incredible quality and Dave does a wonderful job with his videos of explaining care, treatment, quality, and everything else one needs to know about leather and the process used in making his products, which was SUPER HELPFUL since I knew nothing walking in. Checkout was easy and fast, and I love that I didn't need to make an account to purchase anything (I don't like getting spam mail or giving out my personal information. I came back to make one because I will DEFINITELY be purchasing more from SB and because I had to rave about this luggage tag). Payment processed the next day, and shipping was fast (I purchased 3-day and it arrived in 2, so I guess thank you to the US postal service too).��One recommendation I have is when you take it out of the package to throw it around and beat it up A LOT. Be careful of the clasp, but bend and play with the strap and tag itself to start the breaking in process. The oils from your hands will bring out the scarring in the leather beautifully and will make it easier to slide your ID or whatever into the slot.
