    Less than impressed

    I think that Eastwick really hit this review on the head and would like to second what he said. I did purchase this and of course the quality will always be great, but I had to have a carrying strap sewn onto the bag... that was an additional $30. IF there were to be a toiletry bag 2.0 it should have a carrying strap and a longer closure strap.

    Great quality, needs work

    As with everything Saddleback, this bag is made of high quality materials. There's lots of room inside for all of my travel toiletries. I do have several issues with the design. First, the strap isn't long enough if you stuff the thing full. There are all sorts of holes punched along the length, many of which can not possibly be used as it would never close that tightly. I'd rather have a longer strap for overstuffing. Also, this really needs a carry handle of some sort, as it's inconvenient to grab this thing single-handed without one. I can't recommend buying one at this price with these limitations.

    Finally Perfect!!!

    I own 10k worth of saddleback. Ashamed and proud at same time. My first review and don’t usually write them but this is a great bag. Simple and perfect. The right size and right utility. Love the opening it makes it awesome because you can see everything. Not too big not too small. This little piggy loves it. Nice job!!!

    Collector Point Of View: New Must-Own Piece

    A good dopp kit? Of course. But no one reads SBL reviews to find out if the bag successfully holds things. I used to work for Dave. I've seen a lot of designs come and go. My conclusion is that this bag is an instant part of The Canon, alongside designs like the Waterbag or FP briefcase. It's a must-have piece for experienced leather/SBL collectors for three reasons: 1. The closure holds the bag upright and looks to me like it will still do so even after the leather has broken in. 2. It's flexibility/organization ratio is perfect. ALL of my bags look nice; however, only some get used regularly. It usually comes down to this ratio. 3. It's basically a three minute guitar solo for leather fans. There's a pocket of shadow near the hinge that really shows off the full color range of the leather. In other words, this is one of your bags that will never see the bottom of a closet. HOT TAKE: This challenges the wallet as the ideal affordable way to first own timeless leather.

    Smoking Pipe Bag

    Perfect Smoking Pipe bag ! Two or three pipes, couple of tins of tobacco, various accessories, etc. Does the job!
