    Wow

    THIS THING IS GREAT!!! It smells awesome out of the package and looks great. I bought the tobacco brown colored wallet and i'm very impressed by the feel and color of it. Needs some stretching but that's normal. Shipping was fast and customer service even sent me a keychain for free after I emailed them and asked if I could get one. Would definitely recommend this wallet to anyone looking for a beautiful yet rugged wallet that looks built to last. I will update this post after a few months of good use and let everyone know about how it's holding up.

    Awesome!

    I don't ever write reviews for products but after my experience yesterday I had to. Long story short I thought that I lost my wallet at the gym yesterday. The funny thing is that my first thought was "damn I lost my saddleback!" As I was cancelling the four cards I had in my wallet and dreading the ridiculous wait at the DMV for a new license, I couldn't help but mourn my loss. It had been a part of me for three years. But lo and behold when I got home from work my tobacco, worn to a beautiful patina, wallet was on my floor in my room. I picked it up and told it I was sorry for losing it and that it would never happen again. This is the best wallet I have ever owned and I am hoping for it to stick with me for the next 100 years.

    Perfect

    Just got it in chestnut colour - the colour's better live! I expected it to be more reddish, which I didn't like, but I had to put up with the fact as there weren't any other available. The brownish is just right for my taste. Our banknotes are slightly smaller than the USD, so my money doesn't stick a lot, another great thing about the wallet. Now I'll be waiting for it to break in a little- I think only the ID window's stiffer than it needs to be, the rest are alright. I've got a total of 4 cards and cash. Love the engraved doggy picture. I also had a dog with which I had to part because of some problems and I miss her now... I'm glad I'll kind of.. carry Dave's dog's soul with me and it will remind me of my own doggy, too. I don't know why people are crazy about the smell, though, it smells like rubber to me, lol. Don't care.

    Sturdy, beautiful and spacious

    This is an awesome, sturdy and beautiful wallet as you can judge from all the other positive reviews. I just want to add some information I was looking for before buying the wallet: - Dollar bills fit perfectly and do not protrude IF you don't put in more than ~7 and if you don't carry 10 cards in the wallet. Otherwise you will have a hard time sticking the bills deep enough into the pocket, so they will eventually protrude a little bit (not a problem). - I had no break-in time, but I only carry 6 cards in the wallet (2 in the ID pocket, 2 behind it, and one in each of the two slots, plus a thing MTA card). Getting cards and cash out and back in was very easy from the beginning. They however fit more tightly when you carry a lot of bills or add more cards. - I'd say the wallet can easily fit 2 or even 3 cards in each of the pockets comfortably. - regarding Euro bills: 5-20€ bills fit in perfectly, 50€+ sticks out a bit if folded only in half. Awesome wallet, full recommendation!

    Great Wallet!

    I rarely leave a review, but this wallet and the folks at Saddleback deserve some positive remarks. The reason I visit this site today is to purchase another one of these, but this time as a gift. A few weeks ago, I pulled this wallet out of my pocket to pay for dinner with my best friend... Not only did he pick up the check, but he also made a comment about my wallet being something he had to have. Obviously, I would not give him mine, so I have decided to purchase one for him because he asked where to find one. Here's the thing - I quickly navigated the website today and found the wallet and color choice I wanted... The price? Didn't matter, because the wallet is one of the best purchases I've ever made. You see, mine is about 8 years old, and I have NEVER had an issue; nor does it show signs of wearing out. I truly believe it will last a lifetime! It's one of those items I own that I don't ever notice, but only because it is so dependable.
