    A Perfect Pocket Companion

I received my Tobacco Leather ID Wallet yesterday. All I can say is Wow! I have carried a back pocket bi-fold for many years and started having some hip and back pain. This wallet nicely fits everything I need without adding extra weight and bulk. As with all other Saddleback Leather products, craftsmanship, color and style are all perfect. Thanks SBL...you have a customer for life.

    Better for cards than cash

I like everything about this wallet (price, size, slimness, quality) except for one thing - it's really hard to get your cash in it with a single fold, and double folding makes things a bit thick and hard to work with. It's not that it's not tall enough for the cash, it's that unless you have a huge roll of very crisp bills, they don't have the strength to go all the way down into the cash compartment (you can test this by double folding them, and they go all the way down just fine). Maybe once it's broken it it'll be better? It'd be more of an issue if I use cash more. Also, other reviews mention the looseness of some of the ID pocket - if you don't keep the wallet very stuffed and keep only one thing in that pocket, that could be an issue. I keep two IDs in that pocket (driver's license and university ID) and it's perfect - I like being able to slide them out with one hand.

    Couldn't be happier

My first SBL item. Received it and immediately fell in love. The smell, look and feel was more than I expected and I couldn't wait to start breaking it in and getting that patina going that I've heard about with the products. As I was stretching the card pockets with a big stack of cards, I noticed a small rip in the front. The front pocket is a lot thinner than I hoped for. The rest of the pockets are lined with pigskin except the front card pocket and the id window. I contacted customer service and they immediately insisted on sending me a replacement with no questions asked in lightning speed. I couldn't pass it up and even had them throw in a simple wallet sleeve. No issues with it now and its been getting better and better looking every day. The one thing I wish was that the center pocket could hold paper money better. If you fold the bills in half it is hard to squeeze them in there. Not practical for me in day to day transactions at stores or elsewhere unless I want to hold up the line and look awkward. Since I don't carry much cash on me, this isn't a deal breaker at all. Call it an obsession, but I cant wait to take it to work or put it through a days 'beating' to give it more character. Will definitely be ordering more products. Customer service is the best I've encountered in any company especially and online one.

    Perfect

I don't like a big wallet. I have had ID wallets, money clip wallets, and folding wallets. Nothing has come close to this for initial quality. I was worried it might not hold enough. It's got plenty of room for at least 6 cards, drivers license, and at least 5-7 folded bills. Everything I need and incredibly well constructed. We will see how long it lasts, but I'm sure it won't disappoint.

Stop Reading This, Just Buy It

I bought this from Dave's Deals. So glad I did. I left on a business trip a few days later and I had never been happier. I had my corporate cards, ID, and cash easily accessible. Funny, TSA was not thrilled with me trying to get my drivers license out of the ID window section. Let it stretch before you try to jam 2 or 3 in there. I held up the line well past anyones patience point, even my own. Side note.....Sadly my iPhone 5 sleeve I was using on my Moto X got lost at the TSA checkpoint. I just got the thing. My heart broke, it worked and looked awesome. I read a review below that knocks the wallet for the way it holds cash. They're trying to fit JPY in the wallet designed for USD. I don't think I need to explain any more on why that's a fail from the start. It works fine for USD. I've packed single bills and a wad of about 15 singles. If you get an old crinkly single and try to jam it in there it's an interesting process. I was looking for ways to make this fail and I came up short, only if I created a ridiculous situation could I imagine this wallet failing.
