These sandals were formed and based on the historic 1st generation of the 1912 military Munson last (shoe form) and healthy foot principles that hundreds of millions of boots and shoes were formed on from 1912 to 1970. The twisted last was slightly adjusted for sandals with no heel.

- Straight Toe Lines For Foot Health. It sounds insignificant, but it’s a big deal. The reason we sell our high quality leather goods at a relatively low price is because I decided a long time ago to wholesale directly to you rather than to a store, who has to double their price. I would sell more volume to stores, but it brings me joy to get excessively high quality leather goods into the hands of normal people at an approachable price.

I believe that once someone tastes of high quality, it will create more of a demand for high quality everything, which will spread and have a domino effect across society. And the luxury brands, selling overpriced status symbol leather goods, are not happy about it. This is one of the little things we do to try to make the world a better place.
