Bought mine in Tobacco that's looking great, it's turned a richer shade of brown than the first time it arrived, so love it even more. Great product. Have just ordered the Love 41 Simple Tote in Chestnut, so excited!
I did extensive research when looking for an ALL leather bag. Everyone else’s was just pure garbage! I don’t remember exactly how I came across Saddleback Leather but so happy I did. I looked at everything on the website! I found exactly what I had been looking for: The Big Leather Wallet & Front Pocket Briefcase in ALL BLACK! What finally sold me is when I watched Dave’s Video: How to Knock off My Bag Waited 3-5 days w/free shipping! It came to my house & I opened the big box it came in! Only 2 words came to mind: BEAUTIFUL & BEST I’VE EVER SEEN!!! The fresh smell of full grain leather filled the air around me! I was VERY IMPRESSED. Customer service = ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! I also had my eye on a couple other things so I ended up buying ALL in total: Front Pocket Briefcase (Large/Black), Front Pocket Backpack (Large/Black), The Big Leather Wallet (Black), & 1 bottle of Leatherman’s Milk. I could not be HAPPIER!!! Kudos to the Saddleback Leather Company :) I'm putting this same review in the reviews of the other items I bought because they all deserve the same praise!!!
My wallet just arrived and I LOVE IT. I was a bit taken aback when I saw in person for the first time. But it's by far the best purchase of a wallet I've made. It holds ID, credit cards, pens, receipts and anything else I can think of. It also carries well as a tote purse. I plan on using this for 100 years and leaving it to my child when I'm gone. Kudos SBL!
Female review - I have slowly been transitioning from all other brands to SBL and I can't tell you how pleased I am with my recent purchase of the big wallet in chestnut. Yes, I am a woman...and I typically have a large tote / handbag that I use to carry everything. This wallet works great even if I were to carry it alone and I can still get my iphone 6+ in the back pocket with a larger Speck case in the event I need to grab it and run. Ample room to carry credit cards, money, change and a small pocket/passport sized notebook. If you like to be organized than this is the wallet for you. It's heavy but not that heavy and the quality is part of that heaviness. I was always unsure about the button snap closures but they are strong and I don't foresee them being an issue. It's strong and beautiful all at the same time. Under your arm, as a clutch or in a handbag it does the job. Pen holder is a great touch - literally everything I need to grab and go. So far, I am beyond impressed with each and every item I receive and the fact that it has a 100 year warranty makes me want to use the heck out of it without worry! If you carry a regular/standard travelers notebook it's about the same size and I can even grab an insert and carry it in the wallet if I don't want to carry both. It's perfect for me!!!
