All three colours of this look beautiful but I went with black to be more understated. It has a wonderful sheen to it, and is undoubtedly very high quality Italian vegetable tan leather. The painted sealed edges of the leather are so carefully and professionally done, that at a glance while carrying it you want to examine it more, but know you probably shouldn't be so obsessed. Would be wonderful for a daily breast pocket wallet too with a 3.5" x 5" notebook (0.5" shorter than field notes). Support told me that this is also RFID blocking, which isn't mentioned on the page at this time of writing. I can't recommend this exceptional piece enough, and Dave I believe you have outdone yourself here.
