Several years ago, I designed a modular and sliding tool belt for myself to carry random tools, nails and screws for doing odd jobs around our tents, but I decided to discontinue it. But for years, I used the large belt pouch to put my phone into so I could listen to books while doing yardwork and used the smaller pouch to carry my waterbottle. Years later, when my son, Cross, started skeet shooting and dove hunting with me, I used one pouch for shells and one to rest the butt of my shotgun in while I was waiting and walking. I loved it so much that I decided to bring it back and call it the Shooting Belt.

Materials: Full Grain Leather
The leather of this Shooting Belt is the strongest and most water-resistant we can find (full grain), and then we lined it with pigskin, to make it a little lighter, which is stronger than the cow skin. It's rare for a low-quality company to use full grain to make a leather belt because it's so expensive. When I say "Full Grain Leather" I mean that it still has the full amount of all of the tough, tightly woven fibers on the top of the hide still there. The grain layer is the strongest part of the hide and it holds the moisture in and doesn’t crack or stain easily.

Seriously Strong Metal Buckle
I know using 316 Stainless Steel for our custom buckle is kind of like killing a fly with a shotgun, but we did it anyway. Somewhere a metallurgist just cried a tear or joy. All of our Italian Dress Belts, Tow Belts and Old Bull Belts use the same buckle. I’ve never met a belt buckle made stronger. It is even rated strong enough to hold a 751 lb. bag of cats over a 1000 ft. cliff before the rope breaks. If your life needs to depend on a metal buckle, let it depend on our 316 Stainless Steel one.
